X effect is against the law.
Justice -- At the beginning of each upkeep, if an opponent broke the law last turn, [EFFECT]
An ability word that imposes "laws" andthen gives you bonuses if an opponent breaks those laws.
Justice is meant to represent an oppressive and dominating government and aristocracy.
Current discussion is about whether Justice cards at common should all have the same 'law' or not.
Kicker with new reminder text based on Awaken. makes the card less mathy.
Kicker and flashback have a baby. Kickback? No, it's an alternate take on research. The cost is now to appear on the back face.

Makes canister tokens.

This mechanic uses DFC's where all the flip sides have the following rules text: "Creatures with revolution you control enter the battlefield transformed."
Reuben's Revolution is designed to capture the flavorful theme of progress. Its mechanical goal is to produce an interesting and radical change across multiple permanents, which involves a level of interactivity with the opponent - in many cases, a shields-down moment.
This mechanic has a variety of pros: - Strong Flavor - Tapping your creatures creating a "shields down" moment. - The ability to stop the revolution giving your opponent and you a subgame of killing/protecting the revolutionaries. - Tapping creatures as the cost creates the most interaction with other mechanics.
Note that it is possible "though less preferable" to have a cost associated with the revolution ability.
In card text or details pages, write the mechanic's code name (playtest name) between square brackets, like "[Crittercast]", "[Bushido 1]" or "[Delay 4 {2}{R}{R}]". It will be expanded to the mechanic's name plus reminder text, such as "Suspend 4 – . (Rather than cast this spell from your hand,...)"
To expand a mechanic's name but not its reminder text, include parentheses at the end of the square brackets: "[Crittercast()]", "[Delay 9 {R}()]".
