Reuben's Revolution is broken
Uncommon
I do love the idea of an ETB ability that power-ups the Revolutionized side.
Linking to mechanic.
Creatures usually enter the battlefield untapped. Fixed backside
This still super annoys me that you don't get the land if it ETB's transformed.
Is the ETB design space worth changing the "Creatures you control with revolution enter the battlefield transformed." text to "Whenever a creature you control with revolution enters the battlefield transform it."
The latter is more wordy and more clear, in some ways. But I'm not sure it's worth it.
With the second wording, if you had multiple revolution creatures transformed and this enters the battlefield, would it transform twice?
Ahhh yeh, I remember I changed it to its current wording for a good reason.
There is yet another alternative.
"Whenever a creature enters the battlefield, if it has revolution, transform it."
This way it does two checks, first on etb, then again before the transform.
Still not sure if better though, but it does solve a few problems
Very good card. Blocks early. Serves as formidable threat when you can normally revolt. Really don't want to touch this (other than to solve the missing the initial ETB problem).
After playtesting this I'm actually ok with missing the ETB when the revolt is active, considering how large it gets.
Also, reading the card still too strong. I definitely grabbed two islands in my solitaire playtest. I am not sure if we need the forest restriction, especially since we are looking to support 3 color revolution
I'm fine with that change, especially with the

cost.
I suspect this would be a reasonably good reason to go into G/x revolt.
