Well... I'd normally rather have Prismatic Lens or Prophetic Prism, but I imagine there'll be the odd occasions when the canister would be more useful than a cantrip or making {c} . It's clearly more in-theme for the set, and a canister probably makes the card more playable than a basic Mana Cylix should be, so sure :)
