"It is against the law for an opponent to control a source that has dealt damage to you this turn." No matter how we wrangle this wording it has to say 'source' and that, alongside a keyword, inclines me to not like how this card is working out, I think.

Personally I am an advocate for effects like this to just gain 1 life instead of "equal to the total life lost"
