Trample is kinda expected here it being elephant and all.
What do you think about haste in ? Of the two - vigilance and haste - which one should in your opinion should appear more frequently? Or are they both niche abilities for ? You made this a common though so...
This could be seen as a shameless plug, but Dancing Deer is cool, right? These abilities fit well for its creature type. I also like it as it's surely a card that couldn't have (higher toughness than power and it has vigilance) and is quite different compared to any other haste card I can recall.
"The elephant tramples." Yes "The elephant is vigilant." ? "The deer is vigilant." Sure "The deer is hasty." Yep
What I'm alluding to is to how could use haste more frequently but maybe in a way that differs from the way uses it.
Eh, it's somewhat better. The repetitive activated ability also annoys me a bit for some reason. I would just try out giving it flash and making it Coercion for a Trap card instead. Much like Trapfinder's Trick does. Though maybe the "guessing game" is fun, Idk.
Experimenting with "life tripping"; spreading life gain of a singular life to more colors - more of a set-theme bleed than something I'd have blue do all the time.
now no longer targets your own creatures for unintended double-drawback
This is an Innistradi stitched corpse construct with the original souls of the dead used in its creation still hanging around the flesh golem.
Mechanically this is a member of the white-blue tribe and the blue-black tribe and hence the common color of both tribes.
The ability includes the "ETBT" theme introduced for Innistradi Zombies (found in both blue and black, though felt more in black IMO) and the theme of Innistradi Spirits to tap your opponents' creatures.
Nice little rules corner-case: Played on an empty board this doesn't tap down an opponent's creature, but also doesn't ETBT itself. I think that's fair.
Is Farmer or Peasant going to make it into my extended list of creature types? Chances are not bad after seeing how often I go to that particular theme.

EDIT:
At the time when this was posted in 2012, it might have been a lot more controversial, but nowadays it seems vigilance is surprisingly common in : Tajuru Pathwarden, Sentinel Spider, Brushstrider, Woodland Patrol, Ravenous Leucrocota, ...

Thought about making it rare and return the cards directly to the battlefield.

Gotta love when the name of a card is its creature types.
