To be fair. Cancel was never meant to be the reference of counterspell power level (or at least not the upper bound).

­Contain is a follow-up to an earlier (inferior) design of mine Ley Execution answering the question: What if Disallow could counter both the eldrazi titan and its triggered ability at the same time?
