Color pie issues... this is a clear blue-black removal for a lot of artifacts (Vehicles, Equipment etc.) and enchantments.

Why was this an Aetherborn Artificer?

Well, why is it an Assassin? Or tribal for that matter?

Aetherborn Artificer might not have been that far of from the original that did remove vehicles/equipment or whatever.

Nah, the original intent was to solve Eldrazi titans, summarily.
