I could see this being a common. Would be very nice in an enchantment heavy/focused environment. I also would consider pushing the mana cost down to {w}.

Hmmm... I'll might make use of this in the Silmarillion set: it has enchantment themes + a {w/g} limited archetype focused around lifegain triggers to boot.

Compare Underworld Coinsmith. I agree this simpler version could be common, in a set with enough enchantments to matter.

Or compare to Soulmender. I figure it's got to take a lot of enchantments to out put one life per turn on average.
