With 'unaimed' in its name I would expect this to choose its target at random, which actually is a quite commonly seen design / mechanic - though I personally find it questionable.
Could 'Line of Fire' work as a name here?

The amount of damage and the mana cost would really depend on the environment in question.

Line of Fire works well as a name.

I prefer to replace random choices with choices made by another player wherever it does not defeat the purpose of the design.
