Trample is kinda expected here it being elephant and all.

What do you think about haste in {g}? Of the two - vigilance and haste - which one should in your opinion should appear more frequently? Or are they both niche abilities for {g}? You made this a common though so...

EDIT:

At the time when this was posted in 2012, it might have been a lot more controversial, but nowadays it seems vigilance is surprisingly common in {g}: Tajuru Pathwarden, Sentinel Spider, Brushstrider, Woodland Patrol, Ravenous Leucrocota, ...

This could be seen as a shameless plug, but Dancing Deer is cool, right? These abilities fit well for its creature type. I also like it as it's surely a card that {r} couldn't have (higher toughness than power and it has vigilance) and is quite different compared to any other haste card I can recall.

"The elephant tramples." Yes
"The elephant is vigilant." ?
"The deer is vigilant." Sure
"The deer is hasty." Yep

What I'm alluding to is to how {g} could use haste more frequently but maybe in a way that differs from the way {r} uses it.

Vigilance on this card has the added message that it turns around what the original War Elephant did: Putting trample (primarily green) on a white 2/2 which is really undeserving of the ability.

Knowing elephants they are quiet tireless and attentive. They can trample, but sometimes they don't. This specimen is disciplined.

This would be the perfect flavor text for the card xD
