It's card like this why I don't put rarity on my cards so often in the first place. :)

I think mana cost -{1} or toughness +1 is in order for this.

Looking repeatedly at your opponents hand seems like it could get rather annoying.

Maybe as a triggered ability on entering the battlefield?

Eh, it's somewhat better. The repetitive activated ability also annoys me a bit for some reason. I would just try out giving it flash and making it Coercion for a Trap card instead. Much like Trapfinder's Trick does. Though maybe the "guessing game" is fun, Idk.
