I cannot recall what the original idea was except that I consider Recurring Nightmare too strong.

Doesn't look that comparable to Recurring Nightmare since you can throw this at instant speed and if you have no creatures in play, it's Zombify with flash (as the sac isn't part of the cost per se). Closer to cards such as Makeshift Mannequin and Rescue from the Underworld.

It definitely should make the sacrifice an additional cost. Recurring Nightmare is super broken.
