Does Lander have any meaning? Wotc avoids noncreature subtypes unless something refers to them mechanically
Lander is tied to Rampant Growth-style/land tutoring effects in the same way Food is tied to life gain effects and Blood to rummage/loot effects.
The set I imagine for this would refer to the type on certain cards to create a subdivision between more militaristic Vehicles and more exploration/expansion- or public-service/maintenace-oriented Vehicles.
There could be a Colony Ship that tutors for Landers etc.
So it's half a mechanical identifier (you have this type, you have an expectation of a certain effect) and half something that can be referred to. Comparable to Curse.
