So the dream of using this to cast a dragon to cast a dragon to splat your entire deck of dragons onto the battlefield need to combo with a pile of... nope; the shamans only reduce cost by colourless, not the coloured part. So you basically need to have hit infinite mana to use this at all, let alone as a wow moment. And sure, it's a cool finisher for it; but there are easier.
So the value of this ability is that it lets you cast two mid-size dragons a turn thereafter, rather than one. Which is.. decent?
The real value here is a 5/4 hasty flier for 6. And Volcanic Dragon says ok fine this is more red, go ahead. Meaning that huge flashy seeming ability text is being trated as trinket text.
Which yeah it looks like it kind of is. Shame.
(I'm assuming common is just because you didn't set it; since a 6 mana dragon finisher is hardly a sensible common)
(As this creature attacks, you may tap a nonattacking creature you control without summoning sickness. When you do, add its power to this creature's until end of turn.)
Perhaps "G, T: Mill a card. When you mill a land card this way, you may discard a card. If you do, return that land card from your graveyard to your hand."
Does it actually have to mill first and then return? What about just "Reveal the top card of your library. If it's a land card, you may discard a card and put it into your hand. Otherwise put it into your graveyard."
