I wondered about making this "Players can't pay costs that include life or sacrificing creatures". As it currently stands, you can have the high principles that The Ends Don't Justify The Means, but abandon them when you need to. But that's actually quite in keeping with the series too...
More of a problem is that you can basically avoid the drawback here by just not putting cards with those effects in your deck. I wondered about another "lose the enchantment" condition something like "when two or more attacking creatures you control die in combat", something that's more likely a significant risk.
some text, fairly similar to as discussed 4 years ago
Hmm, I'm having a little difficulty coming up with enough common-suitable raid and revolt effects, since they both need to make sense in second main phase, and on commons they mostly need to be virtual vanillas with ETB triggers.
Thing is I want a common 4-drop, I want it to have revolt, and I don't want commons with p or t greater than 3. I considered having this add

(then it's a worse Coal Stoker). Trying this instead. It's repeatable burn but not very repeatable, and only to players.
This compares very poorly to Test Pilot. For now I'll make it 2/2, but it's still quite a bit worse.
Designed for the (Black-green archetype), though it'll certainly play well in the (Red-green archetype) as well if you get a couple of sacrifice engines.
Flavour isn't ideal as this sounds a bit too white. I'd like to find a more green-sounding name, but this cardset is going to have problems with green creatures anyway because there just aren't any nonhumans in the series. There's one cat in one episode, and a couple of horses on screen for a few seconds. So any flavour like Prized Unicorn isn't available to me.
Inspired by the (Black-green archetype), though at rare it won't show up in limited very often. Code Geass isn't the actual trope namer, but it certainly shows up on the TVT page so I'm fine to include this here. The name itself could change.

terminology update: type Knightmare -> Equipment
An updated version of Debt of Loyalty to avoid using regeneration and match Adarkar Valkyrie. Also moving to rare as Link suggested.
