I've made an initial attempt at matching my current designs to the skeleton. Unsurprisingly, I'm fairly short on large creatures. I also need more uncommon creatures, revolt cards (creature and noncreature), combat tricks in red and green, uncommon coloured equipment, rare raid cards, and to work out what I'm doing with colourless cards (artifacts and land).
add trample to look marginally less like a common
no, that looks a bit silly. back to "Tohdoh"
I used ō on Taizō Kirihara so I guess I can here
This is a decent pump but I feel it's just too expensive when you add the mana cost and equip cost. There are a few ways to bypass equip costs in the set, although not many in black.
On the other hand, I was worried over on Glasgow RPI-11 about this being too good (too hard to remove). So being fairly pricey might make it worthwhile.
I could take it down to 3/3. I was thinking it wants to be fairly defensive, for the (Blue-black archetype), so maybe 2/4.

2U 1/3 -> 3U 3/3. not great flavour for a 3/3, but...
1R 2/2 common -> R 1/2 uncommon
Looks like this and Geass to Murder are out, while Not As Dead As You Thought and Drug Dealer are in.
Redistributing and modernising the effects of Persistent Sergeant and Geass to Murder.
Flavour and types could change. The series does have an episode dealing with drugs, but they're more "get lost in memory" type drugs than massively toxic ones.
need to actually remove legendary from existing legends to avoid legend-rule duplication
