I'm a little worried that this is simultaneously unappealing and overpowered. Repeatable discard is very good and almost always rare. This is pretty close to Blazing Specter or Sedraxis Specter. My hope is that since this a) doesn't fly and b) either needs something else to get through as well or needs to get +1 from somewhere, it should be okay at uncommon.
(Edit later:) Actually, compared with Raiders' Wake this is probably fine.
I do like the combination of haste with a black overthrow ability. But an alternate design I could use is like this but costing 3 and with first strike instead of haste.

The gold uncommon for the (Black-red archetype).
