Recent updates to Melody: (Generated at 2026-01-31 05:39:09)
The vast majority of players won't know that. Making him Legendary solves that problem...
I'm pretty sure that interaction is governed by time-stamps, so that the most recent Humbling Diety is still a 4/4 with his abilities intact.
And if you have two out?
Dear Rules Gurus: This (and Humility) don't impact ETB abilities, right?
Yes, that was intentional. If they have anything that regenerates, it deserves retribution.
Lol. You know that if an opponent's creature regenerates, that player gets to choose the target, probably your stuff?
Ditched a delay trigger, now melody grants an ability to ALL creatures.
ALL I WANT TO DO IS CREATE A DELAYED TRIGGER WHY IS IT SO HARD
Right now, you have to pick a creature in advance, then every regenerating creature deals damage to it. I think it would work better as "Melody — If you've cast another spell this turn, whenever a creature regenerates this turn, you may choose another creature. If you do, the first creature deals damage equal to its power to the second creature."
Melody effect was cleaned up and weakened a bit.
Changed from "each creature" to "target creature or player".
Nice card. I agree the "not named ~" is necessary (well, that or "nontoken").
Yeah, I'm aware. If the piddly Tombstone Spider could make Nantuko Husk a constructed powerhouse — awesome! I realize this may be a significant boost over Myr Propagator in terms of reproductive power, but I don't know that it's anything other than a nuisance (engine) without an anthem-effect.
You are aware that the effect is multiplicative, right? I don't think that's such a big deal, but it should be noticed. So, for example:
Nantuko Husk activation, sacrificing a Scathe Zombies + Tombstone Spider +
= Bonus Tombstone Spider.
= 2 more spiders, for a total of 4 spiders.
= 4 more spiders for a total of 8 spiders.
Husk activates with two spiders, sacrifice another zombie +
Husk activates one more time with 4 spiders, sacrificing another zombie +
Sacrifice all the spiders to the Nantuko Husk = profit.
Made less annoying via uglier text box.
You know, I had that exact thought and just didn't follow through with "why do I think this?"
But yes, it would be damn annoying if this thing duplicated once and then someone tried to wrath and noooooooope, still got all these annoying little chumps.
Just in case, I think it should be "Whenever a creature not named Tombstone Spider, you may..."
Added power to work with Magpie Handler
