Name changed from "Survival of the Strongest" to "Struggle for Survival"
Cost changed to 4 from 3
It's a fair point, maybe this should cost

? Sleep is a very good card in limited.
What's the Yew?
Can we rename this to "Struggle for Survival" or something similar? Survival of the Strongest just feels like such a ripoff of Survival of the Fittest.
When I look at this in MSE it seems really wordy for a common. Maybe we should change this to just some variant of Unsummon instead of a combination of Unsummon and Claustrophobia.
I don't think we need the untap clause. It's too brutal on our colorless producing lands.
I just realized that you could cast Cast in Steel on another Cast in Steel to have it fall off a creature but remain on the field as a artifact. You could have an aura enchanting an artifact that used to be an aura enchanting an artifact. Lol, I love this card.
I think you misunderstand. If you make a creature an artifact (just an artifact since it loses all of its other types) it wouldn't be able to attack or block as its not a creature anymore. That line of text (Can't attack or block) isn't needed.
Other than opening other permanent types up to artifact removal, it's effectively identical to Pacifism.
I can't remember what the original intent of this card was. Was it suppose to just temporarily Journey to nowhere creatures or was it suppose to steal them when it dies?
If its the first one, we might be able to get away with changing it to modular 1 or something similar with a attack trigger. If it's the second, it'll need a more dramatic change because it'd be ridiculous with an attack trigger and without a built in death-clause.
This should probably cost
, the same as a colorless 2/2 flier, and taht is still somewhat pushed with Modular.
It originally had intimidate. We changed it to this so as not to confuse people with a colorless card that referenced creatures of the same color as itself. We thought it might make people think colored artifact creatures couldn't block it either.
"Destroy target artifact chosem at random".
Most of the time.
Doesn't this essentially have intimidate?
I think it's ok to be strictly better here and there, as long as it's not everything or a strictly better version of a really powerful card. If this was strictly better Tarmagoyf or Lightning Bolt, I would have my reservations.
This could be called Gift of the Yew.
Changed flavortext
Yeah, I never liked this flavor text. It's a cute reference but it just sounds a bit awkward.
"...and they told me I could never make time."
Or "A Better Future, Today." - Brass City Motto
I would say:
Enchant creature or planeswalker
Enchanted permanent is an artifact in addition to its other types.
Enchanted permanent's activated abilities can't be activated. If enchanted permanent is a creature it can't attack or block.
Wording taken from Faith's Fetters. Yes it makes it more wordy, but I think the flavor is more important than having a short line of text in this case.
I think this could be a sorcery.
Lol I could buy that I guess but then they would have been 0/1s before they ate the parts.
Should this be strictly better than Sleep?
Maybe they ate the parts?
why would nonartifact goats have modular?
I like it as a 1 drop that gets just a little better. +1/+0 and intimidate wouldn't be broken.
It would make for very stale, repetitive play if it didn't.
