I think some colours just feel more Aer and feel more like enlighten so we think of cards for them first. I think we should be able to make UB and RB Aer (although if not, we may have to rethink a little).
I read it as "Classmeek" :)
Yeah, there should be something like this, though I'm not sure exactly what.
Nice.
Yeah, it's possible it would be too annoying, but we should try it because it's very fun for U/W deck.
Yes. Nice way to turn card draw into filtering, without getting into a complicated loop with "when you draw a card, draw a card then discard a card, oops..."
Yikes. Makes my eyes go wide with the possibilities... but I guess it's not normally going to play very differently to Niblis of the Urn. But it does make your cantrips great defensive tricks or pretty good preemptive blocker-denial.
I think I like it. (I certainly want it for my Derevi, Empyrial Tactician deck, which has a major theme of twiddling, a minor theme of evasion, and a good helping of things like Mask of Memory and Last Thoughts.)
Ooh. I like it. Fine card selection on a pretty reasonable body (Wind Drake).
Hm. I don't think this is a particularly good way to use enlighten, because this will almsot always work just like normal phoenices that return at the beginning of your upkeep.
Ah, nice. Sleeper's Robe meets Specter's Shroud, and trades in the evasion for +1/+1, on the principle that Aer already have plenty of evasion (as does monoblue if they want to splash this). Plus it's a great trigger for enlighten. I like it.
Hm. I guess it's like Underworld Connections, but cheaper, and when you tap it you get mana as well as the card.
It's only one card a turn; for an enchantment and a land and 1 damage a turn; it's not that overpowered a combo. Now, combine this with Pestilence or something, and you've got a real problem.
Why not? It would be a terribly fun combo with Brushland. :)
Ah, yes. I hadn't even realized how many
cards there were already. Dangerous Observation could easily be
instead.
Need to make sure we don't print Brushland-style cycles in this block then.
It's awesome though. Hilarious on something like a Plague Spitter. Pity it doesn't work on Bloodfire Colossus. It'll work something like a Pacifism on the opponent's best creature, except for when they think they can push through for the win.
We really need some submissions for colour pairs other than
:) Well, especially
and
.
I made Firelily Gardener, University Doctor, and Dangerous Observation.
It's always fun to see positive feedback.
Seems pretty good. I keep reading it as "Clamseek."
I upped to

. I think it's fair there... technically "Deal 2 damage to all creatures your opponent controls" can't be that expensive. It sure is an Alara blowout...
I reckon 4 or 5 mana is probably okay. Remember Earthquake and similar can be worked around by just having big creatures :) The most recent card this reminds me of is Whipflare, which could often be a one-sided Pyroclasm. Against a monodeck this is just like a Whipflare cast by an artifact deck. And it does nothing in the mirror.
How about we just give this slot to Enchantment Digger instead?
Oh, indeed, green could definitely get "Put a creature card from your hand onto the battlefield blocking target creature attacking you". It could maybe even be cheaper than Dramatic Entrance. But I was wanting something in blue :)
Very nice idea.
