I may have. }:)
This would probably be more sensible if it drew only one card and/or only triggered on playing lands and/or only allowed playing one extra land.
Add vigilance?
My concept of Aer doesn't easily lend itself to black-red cards. This took longer to think of than I'm proud of, but I'm glad you like the result.
Link has been throwing out loads of good uncommon ideas, which is awesome. At the moment we're at risk of every gold uncommon being designed by Link, which isn't a problem except if anyone else wants to have their designs considered :)
So this is an official open call for multicolour uncommon submissions. To anyone who'd like to: Please create some uncommon multicolour cards. The parameters we're creating within:
Hahaha, delightful flavour :)
Yowiezowie! "Kickstart the game"! It's like... New Frontiers each turn. This was designed with your GWU Group Hug deck in mind, was't it, Link? :>
This does go completely absurd with any fetchland. I'll quite happily put an Arid Mesa in and out of play 3 times on my turn to draw 6 cards for 3 life even if I'm not finding any basics. Finding basics that goes up to 12 cards...
This is a very nice powerful effect, very suited to mythic. I have a feeling either the cost should go down by
or the P/T up by 1, but either way, great submission.
Thumbs up. Outclasses Luminous Angel, but that always did feel a bit small and expensive for its effect.
Blue actually works quite well, I think I was just saying I'd had a similar idea..
Thanks for fixing the formatting. Yeah, I wasn't sure what colours would work best (other than W). Maybe the tokens should change to something that more clearly indicates the second colour.
It shares part of its name and colors with Cloudcover Drake.
I imagine a portion of the Aerans would like to ignore the plight of the Gloaming and continue their life on as normally as possible, and some would want to repress them purposefully, but I liked jmgariepy's idea that a faction of them would feel bad for the creatures of the Gloaming and start a bit of dissent within the Aeran population.
I was thinking we'd make a
enchantment with almost this exact effect.

We probably don't want demons or vampires in Aer, but I struggled to find an appropriate flavour. I imagine some Aer reacting to the situation by embracing the "as god" things and repressing the monocoloured tribes as hard as possible.
P/T, cost, and ability are just guesses, but I was thinking of splashy R/B creature. I tried to think of an ability which stacked more with multiple card draw, and this does sometimes, but not most of the time.
"Lose 1 life" is mostly there for the flavour, it could increase or be removed.
I'm worried it might be too strong, so I gave it an expensive cost, but Defiler of Souls is basically similar.
I'm not sure of rarity, cost or P/T, but "lots of tokens" is always a splashy upper-rarity effect for a keyword.
FWIW, I like the name.
Indeedy; I like it. Though "Sacrifice a creature to loot" would be a scary thing to combo it with. Make sure that combo gets into the set :)
it allows shenanigans with looting. draw , discard, repeat.
I agree.
