Alex mentioned that he would like to see a Doomseek in each color, but possibly split up by rarity. I thought of this spin off Pyroclasm which really punishes multiplayer, and protects the red creatures too. It might be too good for its casting cost, actually...

Also of note: Totally kills Fusion Elemental. ;)

Yeah, this is a very nice idea, because it works against monocolour but the effects combine against multicolour.

But yes, I think it needs to cost more. In a red deck, this is nearly as good as "X damage to each creature you don't control", and it probably needs to be costed like that even if every deck can't use it. Judging from Bonfire of the Damned and Flame Wave, that might cost 4 for 2 damage, and lots and lots for 4 damage. 3RR?

Yeah, this is usually going to be a clasm, and against gold a one-sided wrath - five cost sounds right to me.

Let's see - one sides boom... Scouring Sands is {1}{r} for 1 and a small upsdide, Aggravate is {3}{r}{r} for 1, but also lures them all. Chandra's Fury is {4}{r} for 1!

So wow, maybe it needs to be even more than 5? Though Balefire Dragon suggests not much more. Six maybe? Disaster Radius makes it 7, but that's heavily on the 'wrath' side. Interestingly, Gruul Charm says that the effect can be VERY cheap if you add a limit so it only hits some of the opponents creatures; which this phrasing kinda does.

I reckon 4 or 5 mana is probably okay. Remember Earthquake and similar can be worked around by just having big creatures :) The most recent card this reminds me of is Whipflare, which could often be a one-sided Pyroclasm. Against a monodeck this is just like a Whipflare cast by an artifact deck. And it does nothing in the mirror.

I upped to {2}{r}{r}. I think it's fair there... technically "Deal 2 damage to all creatures your opponent controls" can't be that expensive. It sure is an Alara blowout...

Seems pretty good. I keep reading it as "Clamseek."

I read it as "Classmeek" :)
