I'm not sure about it. It fills a really similar space to Vulturous Aven.
That doesn't seem like a bad thing to me...
This is just Murder Investigation.
But Parasitic Implant was removal, not something you put on your own creature to get value when it dies. And it only put a single token. This is neither quite black, nor even is it common.
You can edit your comments, y'know?
Personally I might allow "creature/land or artifact" if the set really needed it, but I'd be surprised if it did.
@Alex - you've obviously never lost to mill in limited
Well, right now it's draw two, which is definitely something I can get behind: essentially a Tormenting Voice that can be a creature if needed.
is the set so pressed for space that it needs first strike and prowess on the same common?
maybe open this up a bit? A Captive Flame in creature form except for artifact creatures only?
Parasitic Implant makes me think this is more than okay. In fact, i think this should be "enchant permanent"
Okay, I completely mistyped that. Ignore the bold type and stuff...
The last and only time green had "untap target permanent" was Emerald Charm
its untap target creature effects aren't like this
The last and only time white had "untap target permanent" was Burst of Energy. It also has Beacon Hawk.
the rest are blue. this is a blue ability imo
This is a really bad and awkward effect = sacrifice a creature, discard a card: Draw a card. Yuk. Why not a simple black exploit cantrip?
Sure, but 2/4 is probably the right call here.
First strike seems like too much. Plus it doesn't feel natural. like a tagon just so it's not french vanilla, which it should be.
I think the interaction is reasonable since both spells need to be cast at the same turn. I think to be a common this would be best if some words could be removed, and first strike are the only sensible candidates.
Yes, my bad. :P
I'd stay away from the Unholy Hunger idea if for no other reason than the fact that Trash is really close to Spellmastery already and it might not be the best idea to draw to many obvious parallels.
As to whether it should change or not, that's really up to what we decide to do with Lost in the Desert, since the reason it was bumped up to 3/5 from 2/4 was to separate it from LitD.
I assume you mean CG12?
-2/-2+draw a card? -3/-3+life drain?
Yes, it is. Is a functional reprint or variant of Unhallowed Pact an option?
What about a different bonus rather than getting bigger? Similar to Unholy Hunger
Isn't this a white effect?
Why does this not just ETB with the counter? Also should be "if there are three or more" either way.
Starting to fill out the skeleton. Proposing this as the CG08 slot in the skeleton
Starting to fill out the skeleton. Proposing this as the CG13 slot in the skeleton
Starting to fill out the skeleton. Proposing this as the CG04 slot in the skeleton
Starting to fill out the skeleton. Proposing this as the CG12 slot in the skeleton
EDIT : CG12, not CR12
Starting to fill out the skeleton. Proposing this as the CG05 slot in the skeleton. I think this as a 1/4 would be great to have in a thopter environment.
