Trash is easy enough to achieve that only this creature should gain trample instead of your whole team

I agree it should only give itself trample.

Also, although Maro has acknowledged that bears as a group should be bigger than a 2/2 (hence why the Bears in Tarkir are bigger than normal) there was an awful lot of backlash at there being no "normal" sized bears in Kahns block.

Are we ok with "big" bears? Or should they be "normal"-sized instead and this be a beast of some sort?

@Raptor I'm of the opinion bears being allowed to be bigger does not preclude traditional bears existing.

Also I believe Humbler of Mortals and in particular Stampeding Elk Herd have amply demonstrated this ability can definitely happen on a common, but as a triggered ability.

Just make it a conditional trigger like the Herd and you solve your problem of the big bear sitting back like a lazy general while underlings fight for him :P

I am in to try it as an attack trigger, although Trash is, in my opinion, easier to enable than both constellation and formidable, as once you have it enabled, there is little your opponent can do to turn it off, as opposed to Reduce in stature or the likes for Formidable.

This would add a bit of complexity but what about "When ~ attacks, X attacking creatures you control gains trample where X is the number of artifacts in your graveyard." or something like that? Other than that, I will make a full explanation on the thread but what if Thrash became Thrash N, with it's default being at 3 but cards like this could have Thrash 4-5?

I am fine with big bears and agree this should only have trample itself.

Now only grants trample to self.

Nitpick : "gains trample until end of turn"

That would involve making it an attack trigger...

Fixed typo

Counter-Nitpick: It doesn't have a trigger, so it just gains the ability while the graveyard is above the threshold and loses it once the graveyard drops below the threshold.

Edit: I guess I was seeing the edited version but I was looking at it before Moon-e edited it, wierd...

how would this work if we switched to the "fuel" version of trash? Entering with a +1/+1 counter if it trashes then getting the ability if it has a counter on it, similar to the Abzan from KTK?

I didn't fix anything related to the trigger. It wasn't a trigger before and it still isn't. Grim was mistaken.

A fuel version of this card would be almost entirely different. I personally would make the fuel cards work more like Formidable: activated mana abilities that eat up fuel. This would be to differentiate them from exploit cards.

Starting to fill out the skeleton. Proposing this as the CG08 slot in the skeleton
