Starting to fill out the skeleton. Proposing this as the CR05 slot in the skeleton. The base creature could be upgraded to a 1/2 or 1/3
I am interested in having this be a large bulky late game common that cycles late land into fuel.
Minion Exploiter

Creature - Ogre
5/4
Exploit
When ~ exploits a creature, discard a card. If you do, draw two cards.
If we make the change and fill the top end of red, I am proposing this as the CR09 slot in the skeleton
Starting to fill out the skeleton. Proposing this as the CR06 slot in the skeleton. I believe this plays enough into our themes that it is worth to have it at common. In favour of removing first strike though, as it adds nothing to the interesting part of the card. I would rather have it be a clean 3/3
Starting to fill out the skeleton. Proposing this as the CR02 slot in the skeleton. What do you think about a toughness increase to make it 2/2?
Starting to fill out the skeleton. Proposing this as the CR04 slot in the skeleton
I am also in favour of having one to three fuel cards here and there as an unnamed mechanism. If we made this card as an enabler, it would still need to do something a little more relevant relevant while grinding.
Fixed typo
Grinding Screech could be plausible if it milled everyone as it could help enable Trash and feed Fuel (still in favor of having a few "fuel" cards)
"Oh no! You caught me off guard, and as a result, you get to... make no difference to the game at all!"
Or are you proposing that there'd be a green/white deck that would want to pay
for Tome Scour, enough to scoop up at least 4 of them?
A looter card being the best common is fine in my mind as long as we are careful not to give blue too much edge everywhere else. (Otherwise it will end up lopsided.)
Personally, I would say we design something else in case we need to then if blue ends up getting the shaft at common rarity, we can still make this become our other Prophet card and change something to Merfolk Looter.
Janky folks play limited too ya know. They might appreciate a colorless mill card to catch people totally off guard.
Typoscry (For each typo you spot...)
Probably more realisticly printable as a sorcery. It's pushed as an instant, but personally, I'm in favor of pushed prior to playtesting.
"spent" not "spend" :P
This was always over powered anyways. (A card that can singe-handledly push a 10 mana eldrazi by turn 6 deserves not to exist. Even worst when a pair can push a 12 mana turn 5)
A single thopter card with double blue doesn't seem like a flavor/identity problem and shouldn't mislead people into thinking blue is the thopter color.
ahh kk. I was just randomly browsing, not using the skeleton.
Cards that aren't in the skeleton are really just put into the card file for bookkeeping reasons. But yes, if this were to be used it would have to be reworded to use
Merfolk looter is fine at common if you're fine with it being the strongest common.
This needs rewording right?
Raptor1210_: Its one of my favourite designs not for any power level reason. Its just a very elegant design that still has a fair bit of gameplay, potential constructed application, and is exciting to new players while being unlikely to heavily influence the power of the color in limited.
You seem to be forgetting this thing has prowess. This thing has evasion AND prowess (the only thing it doesn't have over Stormchaser is haste) Quickly this will come in for beats, playing extremely well with Components and cantrips.
Yeah a 1/1 flyer for 1 is "meh worthy" how much play did Kitesail Scout or Aven Skirmisher see? Even in their respective limited formats?
I'll give you a hint, there's a reason why they were called NTCs (newbie trap cards) by more experienced players.
An evasive prowess 1-drop seems powerful enough to me. Certainly a lot of people were excited for the
one from Oath (though that admittedly has haste).
meh worthy? This is an hyped up Cloud Pirates or Cloud Sprite
May I ask why? It feels very meh worthy and that's coming from a primarily limited player, where the power level is as low as it gets.
I fundamentally disagree with the idea that merfolk looter is too strong for Common but that's beside the point. If the principle behind this card is to showcase Twobrid that's fine but don't couch the reasoning for it being a lower powered card in terms of merfolk looter's op'ness.

Merfolk Looter is too powerful for Common
This card however seems fine.
"then" not "the"
