I can't believe it, a card I've never heard of? And in the modern era no less? That's quite an odd occurence.

I had completely forgotten about it until Volvary mentioned it, now I remember it being a beating when I played during my kitchen table days back during the original ZDK.

I would prefer the Trash to be -3/-3 and to bump it to 3 mana. Rare are the creatures with more than 3 thoughness currently.

I think it being -3/-3 in Thrash would be good since the creatures are a lot smaller than ZDK. We don't have no Eldrazi around. We will barely have titans in Windup.

Removal is something that's almost entirely development. Needing trash for just a small bonus though seems like a waste (like Arrow Storm)

It is not a small jump to go from 2 to 3, as fiery impulse can attest. If at -2/-2 it kills 20% of creatures and at -3/-3 it kills 40%, that is a huge jump. Arrow Storm had the problem that it already could kill a majority of creatures, and the creatures it could not kill could still not be killed at 5.

Just thought of this. Could we make this a bit bigger so that it covers different creatures that Lost in the Desert? Maybe have it at 5-6 mana with a -3/-3 that goes to -5/-5

What about a different bonus rather than getting bigger? Similar to Unholy Hunger

-2/-2+draw a card? -3/-3+life drain?

I'd stay away from the Unholy Hunger idea if for no other reason than the fact that Trash is really close to Spellmastery already and it might not be the best idea to draw to many obvious parallels.

As to whether it should change or not, that's really up to what we decide to do with Lost in the Desert, since the reason it was bumped up to 3/5 from 2/4 was to separate it from LitD.
