Like that?
lol, ok.
And fixed the first ability to be a trigger.
Increased it to a +2/+0 bonus.
Reminds me of Tears of Rage. But even worse.
Weird. I could have sworn this was a rare. Maybe I was secretly drunk when I wrote that, and am only now realizing I must have been drinking? You can ignore my comment, then. It only applies if the creature is rare... this card is more than fine for common.
That was true of Inner-Flame Acolyte too, but it still gave you the option.
This card... it doesn't allow you to put the artifact you destroyed right back on the battlefield. I get the impression many players would get that wrong. Trash for Treasure is also confusing in that aspect... but I think the point of Trash for Treasure was obvious, where this card looks like it could be a combo trick, so players will try to use it like a combo trick.
If you think using your opponents artifacts to combo off enter the battlefield triggers on your own artifacts is cool, then I'd remove the last targeting restriction. If players are going to try to use it as a combo engine, I say let them do it.
Cute. You do know, though, that Jackal Familiar exist, right? It's a bit of a power creep, though, I get that.
Oh look. A rare 2/3 haste creature for 3. At least, that's the way I'd play this guy 90% of the time...
Just wanted to note that this spell can't be cast if there are no creatures in play. That seems odd... especially since I'd totally play this targeting myself and an opponent if it meant it would win me the game.
Hello Flying Carpet rider. Or, at least Arabian Night's Flying Carpet rider. I find it very odd that Wizards decided to get rid of an unpopular drawback by pretending it never existed.
I'd say this card has two 'problems'. One is the whole 'sacrifice your creatures' thing, but I assume you like that and that's why you added it. Fair enough. The other problem, though, is that this removes the +1/+0 boost when blocking... which is going to confuse a lot of players. You could have this say they "get +1/+0 and gain trample" when you sacrifice... but then you'll confuse other players who will think the bonus becomes +2/+0. My suggestion? Switch the abilities so that attacking creatures gain trample, then sacrifice for a bonus to power plus trample. Trample's a good ability... but Primal Rage seems to think it isn't that expensive.
Who's choice? Is this "Then that creature fights target creature you control." or is it "Then that creature fights target creature of your opponent's choice."
Excellent. Wordy, but it's applications are immediately noticeable (including a potential for graveyard interactions). I like this Mythic much more than the other one.
Oh, Fissure, it's been a long time since I traded a rare away for you. I'd say "Red doesn't do that now." but I figure you know that. I do love the flavor of this card.
Just a reminder that the set has two Erons in it now.
This card isn't half bad... it's a pity the flavor text runs long and hides what makes the card interesting in the process. You sure this flavor text can't be broken down onto multiple cards? There's a number of blank flavor texts in the set that can use it.
Huh. Shroud on a red creature? Okay, I'll accept it. Dwarves are odd red creatures anyway.
Ambush already grants first strike. This is redundant in common.
I got to admit... this don't feel very Mythic to me. IMHO, Mythics should be splashy, and therefore, easy to read. It took me 3 passes to get everything that's going on with this card. Rare material, for sure. But this card doesn't do a good job 'selling' the set.
Heh. Joz, I think you forgot that this was the reprint, Ambush. I you want this to be attacking creatures... that's a reprint, too: Headlong Rush. By the way - while it is odd for red to get first strike on the block, Furious Resistance proves it's still possible. Granted, in Gatecrash, they were looking for a spell that could shore up some defense problems for Boros... I don't think the fact that that card exists means we'll see a lot more of it.
I'm making it bigger, a bit.
Well, Muscle Atrophy can be caused by many things, but not something found in white usually. Disease, curses, etc..
sorry I missed the flying bit, +2/+0 with flying for
is good.
Depends how severe the drawback is, I guess. I guess a lot of the time you won't care about being a vampire; and this is fine.
This is +2/+0 and flying rather than +2/+1. I'd say that's a fine tradeoff for 1 mana.
