5 power for 5 mana. Fairly efficient for common. I think this would be more likely to be uncommon: see Battle Screech, Spectral Procession, Timely Reinforcements etc. Captain's Call is the closest common has got to this before.

The activated prot-colour is a bit costly for rare; but certainly no way should any colour get a 6/6 flyer at common no matter what the cost is.

I might change it to uncommon if I can find an uncommon to change into a common. I'm up on my uncommons because I switched the Asyean Guard to uncommon.

Apart from "Um, common? Really? Do I want to draft six of these?" this is nice. Stompy, with a smart little trick that's more effective than it looks; while the once a turn limitation makes it potentially stoppable (unless your opponent is mono coloured; then they are completely and utterly stuffed)

changed it from 9c to 7c, and from 8/8 to 6/6; activated ability grants single color choice once per turn.

Hmm, I think it is fine then. It doesn't increase the damage you are inflicting beyond what your creatures normally are capable of (other then getting in unblocked) But I will bump it to 2WW instead of 3W.
