Ok, something like trample, something like rampage.
Hah. Knew this would go wrong. Was: "When Simple Ox blocks or is blocked by a creature, instead, they fight. Damage dealt during this fight cannot be prevented or replaced."
changing completely (had a better idea while walking the dog)
So the damage... it's permanent? You know, since it can't be replaced?
Wild Ox + Simplification
3/3 swampwalk meets, argh. An attempt to make creatures stompy-only.
This could kinda work - no blocking it with strange utility creatures.
Lava Burst
The flavour text being a reference to...?
Well, that's the same as Fungusaur, yeah.
Was channeling Rite of Passage a bit, too.
Whenever a WOW?!
...I love it :) That's a fantastic EDH General. Reminiscent of Ashling the Pilgrim with a touch of Fungusaur, but exchanging world-go-boom-ness for pump-my-friends-as-well-ness. Utterly awesome to cast a Pyroclasm or Tremor the turn after this happens. (Pretty nifty with Marrow Shards as well, although that's not allowed in a deck with this as a general.)
The flavour text is a nifty reference too :)
Yeah; I figured the text was enough compensation for flying; and you really need to be able to block this sucker. I guess dropping soldiers is whiter. Done.
I know that Alex and I have gone back and forth on the concept of White punishing by using direct damage before. I'm for it. I don't think Alex is. It certainly isn't in the current color pie, which would probably make you want to gain 5 life instead (or drop 5 1/1 Soldiers on the table?)
Took me a little while to realize this doesn't have flying. I thought you went mad with power for a second.
Quest for the Nihil Stone + Cirrus Sentinel
Ok, plain old 3/2 white flyer, and... a card that sounds like a punishment for an opponent discarding, but really acts as an additional reward for forcing them to stay hellbent.
That could work in white; after all, white tends to be a colour of "Hold back defence tricks" and its enemies are black and red who both often go suicide-hellbent.
Vorosh, the Hunter meets Blazing Skitter
Well, +1/+1 counters are clearly involved. And wow, that first guy is a biggie.
Which made me think of the quote, which lead to a silly concept and a powerful card.
Krosan Colossus + Engulfing Ooze
A 9/9 morph, and... interesting. "everything is unstably mutated" sort of.
Right; just to be contrary, after going large the last couple of cards, I'm gonna go small now that I've got an excuse not to.
The obvious things to do here are some kind of super-clockwork creature; that looks big and stompy but usually ends up reasonably sized for its cost byt the time you can actually use it (but oh... you just might get something stompy!) or some knid of "Unmorph to put -1 on things" ... oddly, there don't seem to be any of the latter; and the former is still pretty large, so we'll do that.
and hey, I'll be nice and avoid a potential downside. If you have this as a 1-drop, yuo can still use it as such.
Also; hey, why'm I the only one using this set? C'mon in, the mashing's lovely.
Wording stays :)
I guess you're right; it's potentially a one-sided wrath, it oughta be rare. It's a GOOD rare.cmc3->cmc4, add 'tribal', uncommon->rare
Wow. "Destroy all attacking creatures" is actually a really pretty awesome card. I think it should be rare and probably 4 mana: it'll sometimes be a Plague Wind and sometimes just a Rebuke or a Wing Shards. But it's definitely awesome if you tidy up the wording and subtype.
Well, the turn it comes into play it's likely to be +0/+0, and if you DO get it out early, it's likely to be +small/+small even on later turns. Still.. yeah; probably undercosted. Upcosting from 4 to 6.
apostophe abuse fixed.

Chastise + Willing Martyr
A pair of "Attacking creature snuffs it" cards. Both (effectively) instant speed, no less.
That really doesn't leave me much room for manoeuvre. And the simplest of this exists now.
So, when in doubt, go large. And funkily word it, too.
Hee. Funky card, but probably needs to cost about 6. I think. Maybe not... it's a little hard to tell... this will sometimes be Mythic Proportions, sometimes more, but sometimes a lot less. I like it, anyway.
Stampede + Boletale Bracket
"Swing with this to finish the game" limited bomb meets... a mana improver.
You know what? Let's go huge.
Mana Reflection + Dendur Charm
Whoa. Green got a supersized Mana Flare? When did THAT happen? On the multiverse side we get a tri-mode card with Reanimate, a mass regenerate, and a lifegain.
Three modes of mana gain? Seems like a good idea; but I can't actually think of three. And I don't think I can get more than one and a half onto a card.
"The Temple of Dendur is an Egyptian temple that was built by the Roman governor of Egypt, Petronius, around 15 BC and dedicated to Isis, Osiris, as well as two deified sons of a local Nubian chieftain, Pediese and Pihor."
Ok, mecahnics. A cross between instant and enchantment? Sorcery.

and

?

And effect? I'm thinking a Dark Heart of the Wood variant, from the name and the effect.
