See Skemfar.
I didn't get the feeling Axgard was particularly associated with Sagas. That wouldn't in itself be a problem if it weren't also associated with Auras so much. It just feels like you'd focus on that enchantment type first.
See Gods' Realm.
See Gnottvold.
See Axgard.
Thinking about runes, realized random protection would usually just give protection from your own colors. "Hexproof from" would still work as a rune
It's also notable that wounds created by the knife don't naturally heal; plus, I chose the numbers so that the wielder of the knife is protected from the specters :)
For flavor purposes, this should be legendary :) The -1/-1 counters is an interesting interpretation of it- the knife cuts on intent, without needing to actually hit; I like it. Part of me feels the specters would be closer to colorless a la eldrazi, but black would be the traditional color choice.
Also useful even if there's no planar deck to allow, say, Neyith of the Dire Hunt to keep drawing cards when opponents refuse to play creatures :P
Been catching up on the His Dark Materials miniseries recently. The second ability is for Planeschase, 'cause why not
Properly legendary
I had not spotted that word "heal" on Dawn Charm, because it turns out to be very hard to read all the way through reminder text. Very interesting indeed. At the moment it's still informal and won't be in the Comp Rules, but it could easily become a rules term.
That's fantastic.
I forgot the pun
