My mockup used had "When Trostani dies, return it to your hand at the beginning of the next end step" so that it fit around the P/T box :) Using CARDNAME instead of LEGENDNAME fits with the immediate return
This one was pretty inspired by Vanille, Cheerful l'Cie and Bruna, the Fading Light, both of which can get back their partner later
Cim is the one with the meld trigger, but you're probably right
Would a meld card that requires two other meld cards to work mention only one of them in its reminder text? I'm doubtful.
I like that this can both regrow another sister to assemble the pieces and provide you with the land required to trigger the meld. Perfect ability to put on the most expensive piece as well.
As powerful as the melded side is... for 12 mana and three cards assembled this might still need to be more.
My first idea would be to adjust the individual effects (e. g. "Populate twice" => "Populate"; "Destroy up to one target creature that dealt damage this turn and up to one target artifact and/or enchantment." => "Destroy target artifact, enchantment or tapped creature."), but then go with a flavorful "At the beginning of each end step, choose three. You may choose the same mode more than once." (See Verdant Confluence and such).
In an unrelated note: I don't see why the final ability is so complex. If you return it to hand and you have to invest 12 mana to get it back into the melded state, then there is no need for a delay to the end step, just return the cards to hand.
I can see a slight argument for the delay f you outright returned the unmelded cards to the battlefield instead.

What, something like "As an additional cost to cast your Precious, you may exile a creature card from your graveyard with mana value less than or equal to the amount of mana spent to cast it."?
Oh, yeah... <.<"
Ormacar showcases a great option to balance the ability though: Care about the mana value of the Precious - you could even care about the mana spent to cast the precious instead to benefit from commander tax a little.
Precious does say legendary artifact. The boring option other people have suggested is mox opal
And I should have mentioned, precious is not my mechanic. It's on the new heroes of the realm card Ormacar, Relic Wraith
Entertaining. How many cards will have this keyword ability, you think?
Since you don't pay for the creature card, the first obvious precious to consider is Darksteel Relic.
Yes. Seems like this is the canonical way to represent stations in text, at least as long as they only animate at the highest level
