Possible alternative to Adamantium Colossus.
Typing
True, but 6 mana, sac a land for "aggro" archetypes" is really steep. Most of the solitaire games I played revolution can start very early. Granted we were playing UG decks with minimal creature interaction, but revolutions seem hard to stop in limited.
Removing the peek and 1 cmc
Repurposed repurpose as this counter spell. Seems about right for what it is. (Being yet another counterspell that treads the 2 1/2 cmc line)
Needs another name, but I don't want to conflict names with Repurpose
The tapping of revolution isn't a light cost. There where multiple times I could of revolted during playtesting that I didn't due to not being worth the "shields down" moment.
Perhaps a 10+ mana massive buff equipment that starts attached to a creature? Everyone likes Gundams, right?
Curse you Stoneforge Mystic!!
We may want to consider having this make two 1/1 Citizen tokens or something of the like. It would effectively have this text anyways as well as help with a Revolution deck's empty board, which is a massive problem for decks that play this
1/1 to 2/2 on base body
Was decent in a deck that often needed ways to push through.
Any time you would be able to activate it's ability, you would only be able to transform 1 or 2 creatures since you can revolt for free anyways with more. In a revolt deck, you will get revolt as you build your board. The only time you would need to sacrifice this is when you didn't have a board, which feels really bad.
I liked this card far more than I expected.
Can activate itself to mess with Will of the People for a turn.
This was reasonably bonkers. The deck didn't have a way to handle that number of small creatures.
If moving to two canisters then could up the stats of this to a 2/2.
Upping cost by one. Will still require more testing.
I never drew this. I do believe instant speed revolt here is reasonable powerful.
I think this card is undercosted by 1 or the activated ability needs to cost a fair bit more.
I am not sure it needs that debuff. It's easier to keep if it counts itself. It doesn't work enough of the time that I would consider that condition
I like the idea of a huge 10+ mana artifact but I'm not convinced this is super fun or different enough from Darksteel Collossus
Is there anyway we can have this not count the creature its enchanting?
Sure! Vigilance it is!
The "Revolt" ability was never relevant in the duel deck. It seems to be very overcosted. I would recommend either reducing the cost or not requiring the sacrifice for the ability.
I both had this win me a game and also be so dead in my hand that I looted it away. This feels about in the right place.
Jeesh, this card can get out of hand fast. I think this card makes the rest of the set demand more shatter effects available to every color (namely R and W). Decommission and Grip of Regression played very well
After playtesting this I'm actually ok with missing the ETB when the revolt is active, considering how large it gets.
Was really good! With Cipher, this card becomes awesome. Without cipher, it's weird... But hey! It's a manalith!
