"Controlling a source that deals damage to you is against the law." Might be more correct since laws are written in terms of opponents
The issue I have with this card is not "Is this in
's pie." To be honest, it is in pie.
My issue is "Does this card help represent
's goals or focuses in limited (or constructed)." Currently, the answer is no if
is the Canister deck.
From the current structure of the set, I don't think we have the flexibility to have our multicolor cards not support these goals, especially since we are explicitly not a multicolor set, where each pair gets only one at rare and uncommon. This is my primary concern with Chosen of the Foundry as well.
Yeah, I don't think this card seems too needed. It'd make more sense in monowhite though, just as a random one-off card, rather than an archetype signal.
I agree that O-Ring doesn't seem necessary.
The red gives this haste, the white instant untapping of creatures. Seems fair to me.
This looks very fun and flavorful. I approve.
Just two:
Seems a slight conflict with Isolated Citizen.
White has no artifact themes in its mechanics. If we wanted to encourage this for the color archetypes, then sure, but it feels like mixed signals. Edit: Eh, I guess it has thopters with
, but the thopters are more from blue anyways
Possibly of you wanted to push it. 7 is fine since it is five power of fliers for any color. We could try it out, but I think it will be real strong then.
It fits the pair better, however, its kinda unexciting at rare in
. Bears aren't great rares in the pair. It doesn't really help with the colors main strategy of ramping into large guys using canisters.
Any reason for the change? I don't think it is unreasonable to have the permanent exile. Otherwise, we should drop the black then.
Not a fan of the change since this card seems to be the pillar for the fictious standard deck I made a bit a go. I can see how it may be a problem for limited.
Mono White seems fine to me. Any objections?
Changed from permanent exile to an O-Ring effect
Would this be ok at
?
Would this fit better in
now? Also maybe add flash?
It's just two-thirds of Pulse of Murasa.
Or at the veryleast they have to use one of the three laws we decided upon to be considered for common.
now uncommon. Be aware that any common justice cards not in Inanimate's common playtest is probably getting moved.
Uncommon then? It plays really well when everyone is making incidental canisters. I really do like this card. It is secretly a backbone of justice decks since most other triggers can be avoided by inaction or minimal action.
I'm pretty sure this isn't a law we want at common
Lose 2 --> Lose 1 life. This is by far one of the easiest laws to trigger and or scales way too fast.
Helping with white removal.
We need a cheap sweeper in red black or white. I nominate black.
Cost isn't very flexible. The effect is pretty flexible.
Quick playtests shows that this is just as absurd as what it is replacing. It does feel better for both sides though as you can kill it
That said, our set has an unusual abundance of "slow mana" in noncreature form. This is actually pretty cool in that by gaining incidental advantage from random blue and green spells, you can usually play this on turn 7 with 4 canisters with little problem.
I like this, but I would like to see people try and break it
Name/Concept Brainstorming (Going for more city/building based names)

: Weapons Cache, Revolutionary Camp

: Filigree Factory, Tinkerer's Den

: District Junkyard, Outskirt Slums, Forgotten Suburb

: Aether Complex, Industrial District, ???

: Corrupted Court, Laywer's Palace, Tower of Judgement
All 5. Looking at our Archetypes I think the enemy pairs could use the the extra flavor and fixing as they are not quite as strongly themed.
