We need a cheap sweeper in red black or white. I nominate black.

Cost isn't very flexible. The effect is pretty flexible.

This is flavorful and effective. A+

What if it looked at CMC instead?

That is an option. In the grand scheme the effects will be fairly similar. "Destroy each creature with CMC 3 or less."

I'm still not sure how that feels though. That seems really good when you consider older eternal formats. Hmm...

I like this card in general, but isn't the set trying to encourage low-power creatures? Esp in black?

Yeah, I suggested the change to remove this months ago. It just really doesn't quite fit.

That said, we'll still need a low cost sweeper at some point. This will likely need some shifting between red, white, and black.

I agree, let's adjust this.

Creatures with power 2 or less gain "T: Destroy target creature with power 3 or more" until EOT?
