I hereby declare 'spuzzem' to be a valid supertype; like 'flying' should be.
Agreed. This creature is making decisions of its own free will. Honorary Spuzzem.
Should this be a spuzzem?
Enlisted Wurm + Dishonorable Mask
5/5 with cascade 6, and menace + deathtouch as long as you're smallest.
So both have a component of "Look for something smaller".
Well, a crazy idea just came to me, and I like it, so I'm doing it. This is sorta kinda like super-menace. It can attack so hard it goes right past the opponents creatures, and the opponent, and right into their library.
Svogthos, the Restless Tomb + Cruel Wizardry
A man-land, size of your graveyard. And all of your instants and sorceries have "kill a creature and discard a card" spliced on. That's abonkers.
All your sorceries get a land spliced on? That's much saner (presuming you cost it high enough that you can't drop it turn 1-3)
Searching your deck for lands and shuffling is annoying. So add the 'exile it' clause so that you've got a handy card you can use as the token. And be optional because whjy would you want a downside on a card like this? Other stuff that cares abotu your graveyard, flashback spells etc. can make this slightly skill testing and more interesting than it looks on the surface.
But you don't care about this; you want to drop this, then chain-cast Kodama's Reach. That's the dream.
No good name, throw in a pseudo anagram.
Forgotten Cave + Pathfinder Blade
A land that you can cycle if you don't need it. And "Revealing a land is giant growth".
So "cycling is giant growth". That would be kinda good. But that's just a balance issue. After all, cycling costs mana.
And it seems oddly untapped. The only thing I can see close is Resounding Roar, and that's really not very close at all.
Gives me some creatuve to base it on though. Could vvery legitimately be mythic; but I'm gonna push and try uncommon - as a "Go forth and build a 'cycle all of the things' deck" buildaround.
Yup; it's "Hexproof is only a bit proof against this".
I didn't consider other means of avoiding it (Giant Growth, protection) so not unexpected they're unchanged.
Funky idea. Bypass hexproof (and also bypass target-in-advance) but work less well on hexproof things (but just as well as normal on target-in-advance stuff like Grim Poppet or Mother of Runes).
Not everyone wants to "build around" their commander. Some people just want to build five-colour-goodstuff, and would appreciate this as an alternative to Child of Alara/Reaper King/Progenitus.
This could actually be nice in a five-colour artifacts deck that appreciates having a cheap reliable artifact creature, to e.g. Ensoul Artifact, or use to trigger your Mishra's Self-Replicator or whatever.
It's not going to be the most interesting legend ever, but it's a role player, which is fair enough.
White and red got their five-colour monocolour legends - General Tazri and Najeela, the Blade-Blossom - this could be the artifact entry in that megacycle.
Plains + Barrier Erecter
So.. make white a card which already is? Yay.
Selectively disables a creature or spell from hurting anything. Costly to use.
Selectively disable a land, maybe? I mean, this sort of can; but it's not often that lands deal damage.
White doesn't get land destruction; but it does get general tap-down. So maybe this is ok?
Myth Unbound + Screeching Bat
1/1 flier, nice and basic. And "Killing my commander benefits me, and is cheaper to get it back". Surprising to see.
So the most basic commander card? That would be one that enables you to ignore the commander restriction, and just go ahead and build the deck you want.
Kind of hard to see how a 'most basic' card could cost 5, so it needs to have its colour in the text box.
Well, this came out thoroughly MEH. The problem is a commander wants to be the thing inspiring you to make the deck.
Warding Shimmer + Chalice of Death
All your creatures have hexproof. And it's animatable (and then also itself impossible to remove) as a 3/3.
And the flip side of a lifegain artifact, giving you a way to win by dealing damage.
So... both are kinda mode changey. "Everything else, then everything" vs "Flip to be the opposite".
The first one changes just by paying it; the second one changes once the first mode has done its job.
Hmm, there's soemthing there. Hexproof but it changes when you do hit it. But, well, while from a game pov I like it - that's a downside for the player using it, so why would you?
So now I'm thinking imperfect hexproof-piercing. That feels like it should work. And this is now a subtle downy-upside; since you can use it to save your own creatures back to hand. Name is... terrible. Cost wants to be pretty high.

Vent Frustration + Infernal Denizen
Huh, two cards that both remove your own land. One is actually really decent red removal; and the other... steals your opponents creatures over time; but then lets them steal back if it runs out.
So something that uses up your land, and takes away opponents creatures.
Those two go together in a very obvious way.
You know what terminology we haven't seen for a while? Bury. And so flavourful here!
Let's cost it aggressively, since it does cost you a land permanently.
*Mothership Core + Borrowed Malevolence
One-turn Kismet, on a 2/1 flier; and a +1 and/or -1 UEOT. Flexible.
One turn counters? I'm sure I've done that before. The name of that second one, though... Gotta do a thing with that. I guess that means just taking the stats from the first thing.
So here we go - if it gets into a fight (though not actually a fight, because TERRIBLE TEMPLATING DECISION) it steals the +1 counters off the thing its fighting. Or the -1 counters, so don't do that :)
This would make a really good sideboard card if you're in an environment where you're afraid, I dunno, modular (Or Fightomancer Heh.) is gonna run riot. Against some opponents, it's basically never going to do anything interesting. And even against its intended prey, it probably needs a bit of equipment to get going.

very white playstyle
Willed Binding + Knight of Meadowgrain
1-target ghostly prison that you can unsummon. And a knight with lifelink instead of protection. And... is that an emu? I'm gonna say that's an emu.
I'm thinking a patent of nobility? You can pass those on.
Granting first-strike is pretty good. Being able to pull it back is pretty good. But even so, enchantments are weak. Give it a knight's cost, I think? And find art for an emu knight.
i gess we're not gunna see tjose other ones now?
Goldcloak Guard + Tarfire
Your one big attacking creature is bigger, and gain 4-life when you use this to chump. Add a Shock that is also a goblin.
So shock when you chump? Goblin when you gain life? Your one big spell is bigger? Your goblins are bigger? Your goblins are chumps? BLocking creatures are goblins?
Huh. That last one is a funny puzzle-piece. I guess it's a build-around for a tribal deck. Helps your tribe, wrecks your opponent. And hints at itself, since it's high-toughness so you'l block so it'll be a goblin.
So enable tribal, by allowing you to run non-tribe creatures for some roles.
i love your humor and half the time i don't say anything because it goes past me on the first read :P
NEV-VER! IF I CAN-NOT EX-TER-MIN-ATE YOU, THAN I WILL TICK-LE YOU UN-TILL YOU ARE EX-TER-MIN-ATED!
Make morphs only cost 3 so that they actually are morphs. Though instant speed and hasty is kinda, well, good. It would seem wrong to the basis cards to give this an ETB-tapped downside.
Reckless Brute + Pristine Lake
3/1 haste, must attack, for 3. And a
dual that sleeps between uses, but is immediately usable, or usable for colourless without downside.
So we kinda have a hasty dual land already, though it pays for it later.
So maybe a sleepy creature? We already did "Falls down and turns into a pile of rubble token, somehow".
A hasty-sniper creature. Tap-down the turn you play it? Viable, but annoying as all get out.
How about a man-land that gets to be hasty? From there, I consider the annoyance that you can't use the lands own mana to pay for its activaiton; but untapping itaself would just be odd and that leads me to a land that creates a hasty token and from there, well, this. All your cards are hasty morphs.
Where does morph live? On Tony Hart's bench. Anagram "Take Hart" for the name.
And wow, this card has, like, no relevance to the starting cards. I'd say "How did I get here from there" but, well, the above text charts my progress. Like the dotted line on a world map as deputy-dawg stalks you.
STOP IT. YOU ARE MAK-ING ME GI-GGLE.
maybe: if thing.polish: thing.polishAgain()
idk im not good at coding (yet)
This obviously should have a trigger, right? Isn't taht true for all permanents?
Also shouldnt this be an artifact creature - x (construct?)
most of these cards should probably exist, but since they 'do' why not make em better?
If you want to fix the : kind of a weird card problem just add a You may prefix.
Maybe this would be too much, and also pushed but: If you don't, add
?
But then it would only be buffing; not rebuffing.
Actually, I think it would make more sense as "If thing.dirty: thing.polish()" That way there's no ambiguity
That rather depends upon the language. But yeah; I think to be at risk of countering itself (which is the intent) it actually needs to be 'when you cast' but...
Bleh. Teh entire thing would make more sense as a token-creating-sorcery anyway, and to be honest; probably shouldn't exist at all.
Is that supposed to be an ETB?
Also the reminder text doesn't work. thing.polish will just return a pointer to the polish() function; you can't also use it as a public variable
Laboratory Drone + Revolutionary Rebuff
Artifact loot, and double force spike.
So an ETB force-spike? Kinda amusing that it's really hard to cast except in response to something.
