I see two possible directions to go with replacing this: a positive aura that grants something like +1/+1 and first strike or double strike or something. Or maybe a negative aura still, but one that is anti-unbound? Sort of like what I wanted to do with the black slot, but direct damage instead of life loss.

I was thinking about that but its way too powerful, Citadel Siege is a rare for a reason. Even if this version would only put a single counter it would still not be a common.
Blue could use a common creature with regular cycling. I nominate this slot as possibly being the one, as it regular cycling cards at common often seem to be on higher cost cards.
One thing that legend thought was a little weird with this card is that the land cycling is the same cost as the card. I don't know if that's really a serious problem, but it is kind of aesthetically odd to me.
Needs at least a stand-in card name like the rest. Just kind of pops out on the skeleton as the only nameless white common.
On another note, is there some way this could be altered to add a +1/+1 counter to a creature instead to suite white's +1/+1 counter theme? With a higher transform cost, of course. I don't know maybe that'd make the enchantment side to powerful for a common?
Good point about green mostly avoiding cycling. Something to keep on eye on in general as we proceed, as I don't think there are very many uncommon or rare green cards in the file that use cycling either,
You know, it does fit the flavor better now anyway.
So this sort of has a double opportunity to be pumped really, wether you cast the spell or cycle it. Kind of cool.
There is no cycling at all in green at common. This is a place to fit some in.
