I think keeping it to scry 1 differentiates this card a little from what blue would get. If playtests show that aggressive strategies are too good we could make this 1/2 or 0/3, but this card is aesthetically pleasing, so I'd wait to pull the trigger on that change.
Cool idea and good replacement. Added costs makes this more fitting for a Common.
Also possible, maybe a slightly better Storm Crow? Easily achievable 3/2 flying would be a bit much for

No that's not what I meant. It's only meant to be a +1/+1 counter per creature like (((Oakwood Elder))), I just didn't word it properly. Fixed now.
Possible replacement card for Hive Spawn, since it's been said that Discovery as psuedo-landfall is inappropriate for common.
Interesting, although I'm not sure how exactly it works? So If your discovery is 2, you would put 2 counters on up to 2 creatures each? That's strong! How about it's always one +1/+1 counter and the amount of creatures is modular. That way you can always distribute at least 1 counter, which is ok for 4 CMC.
Replacement card idea for (((Under-Leaf Ranger))), since we've gotten rid of a number of green Discovery commons, and had the need to tone down green Unbound at common as well.
How about 1/2 or 2/1?

Good point. We don't want to neglect that green is the primary Discovery color.
It's been pointed out that there is slightly too much Unbound in white at common.
If I were to have get rid of an unbound card in white It'd be this one just because it's the most plain one. Could be a card using the enchantment or +1/+1 counter archetype instead.
Vote for Under-Leaf-Ranger to be changed. Cute concept, but it kinda goes against the rather aggressive Unbound theme.
Maybe make another Discovery creature? Green so far has only one, and that one may be lifted to UC status anyway.
Given the existence of Yaados Visionary, Palm Reading, and Seeker of Mystery as already loading us with Scry and Portent style effects at common, maybe this one could be replaced with a blue Unbound card to give blue the edge with that mechanic it merits?
Green currently has more unbound cards at common than blue. And this is the most vanilla unbound card in green. Might want to replace this one. Or one of the other two (((Under-Leaf Ranger))) and Treefolk Chanter could be replaced, as both give +1/+1 until end of turn which is perhaps too similar.
Another thought is we could use an Unbound green card that actually distributes a +1/+1 counter, to give a bone to the +1/+1 counter theme.
