And yes, it might need to be uncommon. I don't know.
I didn't realize I put this in the skeleton. I think the Aerans actually need a few cards without flying, so that they don't get utterly massacred by anti-flying hate. But maybe I'm wrong.
Or we could make slots for the skeleton and see which slots we all agree on. We could then desing cards for those slots.
I think that it strong to bypass any anti-flying that they have and get in for 3 life gain in limited for only 4cc. Maybe uncommon?
I want this to be blue. Can it be done and still have this effect, which is normally green?
If Hovermyr can get these abilities for colorless mana, why not an extra point of toughness for requiring two colors?
Added vigilance and reduced power.
I think Camruth meant there would be 16 total power and toughness.
Should we make them on this set and link them here?
Or warrior heroes to inspire devotion in the masses. I'd be happy with variants, but I think martial types are fine -- Magic will always have martial types, because it's conflict-based.
The set's main comments thread for reference.
Er, four of these would just all be 4/4s. If it's only affecting copies of itself then it's inferior to Wizened Cenn. But it's a lot more versatile than the Cenn, obviously.
I really like this design. Its deliberate disconcertingness works very well: classless creature, 0/0, uncommon Glorious Anthem effect like on Kabira Vindicator. Nice one.
On the other hand, I have a strong preference for giving class types to all sentient creatures. I think Icatian Moneychanger should be a Human Merchant. I'm happy with Warriors: if Aer are oppressors then they'll have needed some frontline forces keeping the landbound in their place.
I just thought of something. Maybe we could each make a skeleton for blue, decide which skeleton slots to use, and make cards for the slots. I'm good with either, what do you all think?
I would have no problem just having them be regular Viashino, not even Warriors for this set. Its got claws, wings, and scales, I think it can get away at 2/1 for a normal viashino.
Actually, it has been established in magic's backstory that the Viashino are genetically descended from Dragons so I don't see a problem with some that are slightly closer on the genetic slide rule having wings.
That's why they were given their own creature type. It is specifically called out in the flavour text of Viashino Spearhunter.
Yeah. This is isn't so much "can you come up with 14 cool ideas" but "of the cool ideas everyone has made so far, and any more you think of, can you decide which ones go together well"?
Huh, good point. OK, I agree Viashino are a good idea.
I was going to make a list of Aer creatures, but the list was short, so I pulled it. On that short list, though, was Viashino. They look like scions to a greater being to me... granted a greater Red being...
But the Warrior part might be a little off. I'm not sure what to do here. I feel we'll be filling Aer with a lot of Advisors, but that's probably inappropriate for R/B. Maybe Scout? Minion?
I like it, very alien feeling, I can just see what craziness xcan happen with four of these in play - 16/16 P/T for 8x

"Bring it down! Bring it all down!"
- Gorgophone, Senetress of the 11th Ward.
In most cases 'Lords' say "All other creatures" because people have a tendency to forget to count the Lord anyhow. In this case, I think people would have a hard time forgetting to count the Sharer of Souls. If we changed its p/t to anything else, though, I think we'd have to go with "all other".
I'm also cool with this, assuming people are mature enough to realize that out of the 10 or so cards they are designing, only two to zero would hit the set. But, I suppose that's going to happen no matter what we do. It seems like we're either going to make too many cards casually, or make too many cards in an ordered fashion... so why not go with the ordered fashion.
I'm going to set up a card called Blue Commons Submissions. We can discuss the whos, hows and how manys there.
Heh. Your're right about the color fixing. Desperate Ritual would be very happy to see this creature. ;)
