added "up to" to avoid corner case
Can the second half be a sorcery? Is there any other way to avoid having a combat trick sitting around face up?
This should help protect important creatures and make it difficult for the opponent to attack which I think is exactly what the Justice deck wants.
changed equipment from a sac: shatter to a weird reach ability
I don't think it's okay. Typically it's pushed that off-color abilities feel uniquely suited to their color.
Currently, we're avoiding elementals and such, though rare and endangered ones that fight back against civilization make sense.
I love the idea of this being flavored as someone who is no good at driving cars, though. :P
I chose something that red and green can do so that the effects would be related but that may have been a mistake. Is it ok for a "red" card to have a green ability that red could have done itself?
This could be reflavored as someone driving a vehicle if that fits the world better. I want the size to be big enough that it is worth sacrificing an artifact to trample over a chump block even with nothing to destroy but small enough that an artifact heavy deck can put all of their blockers in front of it to stop it.
Well, Primal Huntbeast has hexproof natively. This has conditonal hexproof.
While blue rarely has Gray Ogres, it's certainly not out of their color pie. A 3/3 for 4 is acceptable in any color, it's just less often seen. Unfortunately, blue doesn't have a lot of bodies we can use, and I think a 3/3 is more blue than a 3/2.
(I think you are suggesting a 3/3) You are comparing a blue creature to a green creatures which is the mistake I originally made when I costed this at 3. I think that it could be done if you wanted but it isn't normal. Take a look through all of the 3/3 for 4 blue commons in modern.
I figured this could be a mediocre card that gets a lot better if you can give it evasion.
Interesting enough, definitely a solid vanilla staple with strong reprint-capable flavor.
I think at this cost it could easily be a gray ogre, no? Compare to Primal Huntbeast.
No longer damages artifacts
Changed to not target the creature so that your opponent can't counter it by sacrificing the creature.
Templating
removed vigilance, added +0/+2 and instant equip.
Now counters to top of library for mill relevance
Back to original, fixed up a bit
