How many post combat instants to you expect people to have? I would make an uncommon or rare that triggers when you attack.

Well, teh goal here was to make it 4CMC. If we can move it to 3CMC and move something at 3CMC up to 4CMC, though, that'd probably be fine.
I think we want to black common research card to be discard (((Insidious Transaction))), assuming the red common research is removal
Blue gets 2/3 for
all the time. I think blue could easily have a 2/2 for 
(a blue Gray Ogre) with conditional hexproof. I agree that it'd be very unusual for blue to get a 3/3 for 
at common (a blue Hill Giant).
I was actually wondering that same thing! Changing types is something we can certainly do, but I'm not sure if people would notice it changed types on them. That's why I was wary to do it.
I agree that face-up tricks is a problem though.
Mm, I was thinking that might be needed, but I'd rather test it at pushed levels anyway. People already only rarely play March of the Returned and Raise Dead. Stapling them together doesn't improve circumstances a crazy amount. Still, Morgue Theft is precedent I had forgotten about.
One of these should cost more, probably the first one. Raise Dead wasn't great but it didn't give you this kind of card advantage potential. I don't know if Morgue Theft was ever good, but it was a card.
