I hope this accurately represents that the more creatures you have / the bigger your base, the more easily the changeling can "sneak in" since your attention is probably divided among the other creatures.
In terms of power level, it seems very very high. I'm thinking of making it a 0/1 instead, something this powerful should not be allowed to trade with anything. Wording is awkward though, too many instances of "block"
~ can't be blocked unless...
whenever ~ attacks and isn't blocked...
Ok, so I removed all references to actual, physical 1/1 Interceptors, and abstracted them to the cards in your hand. Again, meant to synergize with the fact that Protoss plays like a control deck and all the bounce effects it has.
Unlike (((Mothership))), blinking this isn't game-breaking, so I kept the Mulldrifter ability.
You just have to love Mr. Jack and his amazing artwork, especially since he single-handedly gave me a lot of the Heart of the Swarm units. Viper, Brood Lord, (((Widow Mine)))
At its current incarnation, it's still pretty weak as a 5-drop (by design, I lessened the power of Zerg top-level creatures), but it's just coming off as a bit lame. I'll try to find some way of making this a bit more interesting. Maybe merge the two abilities somehow.
I don't like giving clearly noun names to instants and sorceries. I'll probably end up calling this "Recharge Shield" though that's a dumb name.
Edit: Maybe "Recharge". that's not a dumb name. Strange that MTG doesn't have a card with this name yet.
Whoa. Yes, it is. Way stronger than Puppeteer or Niblis of the Breath.
Looks plenty good enough for a two-drop to me. Would be a bit sad at 3, but looks strong at 2.
Generic, but constructed level playable removal.
There are also very few cards where it shows Terran fighting Protoss, so I really wanted to put it in. That's still Kerrigan in the picture, though.
previously: As an additional cost to cast ~, tap an untapped creature you control. That creature deals damage equal to its power to target creature."
The more I design around Terran, the more it seems like Morph is perfect for them. They're built around the concept of modality ( Siege Tanks, Hellbats, and Vikings transform) or hiding ( Wraiths, Banshees, and Ghosts temporarily cloak).
I just hope it people look past the "BUT ITS CALLED MORPH WHY IS IT NOT A ZERG ABILITY" and see the mechanical reason for it. It actually feels like playing Terran, switching around all these things.
Morph also ranks pretty high on the fun "HEY GUESS WHAT HAPPENED" scale, and with Khans out, people won't be turned off by its complexity.
Playtest results: While I really like this card, the "attack while it's face down and flip it up while attacking" really isn't intuitive. I'm afraid this will have the same impact as Slipstream Serpent, one of the lowest rated blue cards (see gatherer page. (although i hope, hope that it's because of the islandhome ability). This is one of the most powerful cards in the Terran arsenal and i hope I can get something better.
back to morph
Back to blue. The Fatestitcher effect is one of those things which is VERY powerful, as it can also do stuff like accelerate your mana. Made 0/1 to compensate. But still, the power level of this thing is... really, really high.
scry -> Exile both to synergize and be parallel to (((Zeratul, Nezarim Prelate))). Added better art. I just realized that Revelation is a real card. >:( I could probably call this "envision", but it's not the same thing. :(
Sensor array -> Revelation
LOOK AT THAT ART JUST LOOK AT IT IT'S AMAZING
Seeker missile -> Widow mine
Changed from enlightened tutor ability to mana guy. I don't know whether this is within color pie. I mean, he accelerates you, but in a really loose fashion, and in a real deck he even prevents you from casting weird stuff. (Here, though, he can both salvage and put down morph creatures).
I also gave him a bigger butt, which real SC players will appreciate.
Desperately needs flavor text.
previous: When ~ enters the battlefield, you may search your library for an artifact card, reveal it, then shuffle your library and put that card on top of it.
Bumped cost up 1. Now a triggered ability rather than activated to allow the opponent to play around it.

. Flying //
, Sacrifice ~: Destroy target creature with flying.
self-zombifying creature. New artwork better than old. But make creature black to match. Not complaining.

: Return ~ from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped.
