maybe players Can choose certain cards to save from total annihilation.
I also got feedback that chapters 2 and 3 encourage you to go wide to break the symmetry, but chapter 4 wants you to not play anything to break the symmetry. It's a flavor slam dunk that you end up destroying the board you spent resources building, but it's not a fun play pattern. At minimum I could give the tokens haste, although it breaks the connection to other Karnstructs
Creating a token just to destroy it before it can attack feels wrong.
I always think of Elder Land Wurm with these designs, but there is a lot of them. Sometimes the simple ones are great.
I was thinking more like Slumbering Dragon
Mostly - it can only suspend things that need to tap; so you can't suspend sorceries or enchantments. And you can sacrifice things slumbering this way, they get counted for 'x in play' effects and such.
Still - yup, this works pretty well. Apart from being unable to slumber a sorcery; and stunning or putting an artifact to slep makes little sense - so this is mostly limited to creatures - it does the job and is a sensible simplification.
See. You fixed suspend. ;)
