I don't think Giant Growth-style effects would be permanent, but I changed it to prevent the possibility of confusion.

The mechanic is interesting. However, if you use something like a Giant Growth, wouldn't the +3/+3 be permanent since it's power and toughness 'cannot be reduced'... which is what happens @ the end of the turn. Thus it acts like +1/+1 counters... right? Or is not able to be reduced below it's starting power / toughness?

Oooh. Reminds me of Rhystic Cave, but it's not actually that bad. It'll normally effectively only tap for , but it does induce a guessing game. Which could be quite some fun, but I'm not sure having it every turn is good for the flow of the game.

Perhaps "As ~ ETBs, an opponent chooses a colour" and ": Add one mana of the chosen colour to your mana pool"?

I suppose this could also be done as two abilities: ": Add to your mana pool." and ": Add one mana of any color to your mana pool. Activate this ability only if the gravity is 6 or greater." I think having it as one ability is neater, though.

I don't know. The most flavorful thing would be for it to increase or decrease casting cost, but that raises too many balance issues. It could also limit lands somehow, but again, balance issues.
