strawberry flavour
Much reflection on toothychat is telling us that green really doesn't get to have something normal+stompy in the slot between grizzly bears and war mammoth.
so this probably needs to change. How annoying. Would people use it with CMC4?
rename. Was 'secret giver of'
renamed
Made borders white to ease up on printer ink
oops! Good spot.
oops! Lands only!
It no longer specifies lands, however, which greatly increases it power.
I think the original wording was pretty close, but it said "in opponent's graveyard", which doesn't recognise the possibility of multiple opponents. This looks fine now anyway.
wasn't that how I first had it worded?
I agree with Alex. That's the wording from Blasphemous Act etc.
"~ costs
less to cast for each land in an opponent's graveyard" would do, I think. It iterates over all objects saying "Are you a land in an opponent's graveyard? Yes? Then I'll count you."
flavour
The whole 'fey'/'discovery' thing is mostly in flavourtext now. I agree with you, but there's no room on the card, so we'll have to trust the artists.
Art direction: A confused possibly 'sparky' dwarf sacrificing its fellows in a ritual of forbidden knowledge - posisbly absent mindedly or humourously.
Also, REALLY should grant intimidate, or be renamed.
Llanowar Elves, apparantly, practice armaggeddon diplomacy.
blegh, no good phrasing for this
It's meant to be all. Rephrasing for a third time :)
What's this intended to do in multiplayer? Count one opponent or all of them? If one, then your choice, or the one with the least, or the one with most?
On a rethink, I also had the reasoning that I wanted mechanisms to be fragile. That's when I'd planned to have more of them, of course.
Yeah, it is a bit. But as just a pure artifact I think it's too limited use. At least if it's a cretaure you can sometimes hit someone with it. Dunno, conflicted.
capitalise
Wizards probably wouldn't print it, but I think it's fine by Multiverse standards.
Having a mechanism be an artifact creature feels rather odd to me...
