No more token production.
Simplified; no longer a homunculus, nor does it kill things. Still shrieks though.
Toned down a bit!
While I really like how clean and balanced this design is, I'm wondering if I need to spice up the bonus a bit, now that I've gone and revised (((Nakath's Judgment))) into something truly powerful on both ends.
Expanding (((Soul Corruption))) into a cycle; Pyroclasm and Flame Wave on a single card! (Kinda broken at the moment.)

Interesting conundrum. Cheap or cantrip? More often than not, I would expect cheap.
Who could ask for a better deal?!
Drowsy Heron was just an example of a creature with rhythm, not necessarily the best example, but an example nonetheless. Perhaps I should have said Pulselight Wizard to better demonstrate, but there are also tools like Pelora's Circle to manipulate creatures that lack tap-abilities.
I don't see how Drowsy Heron works with this unless it's also got some tap-ability granted. Remember that "Untap ~" doesn't do anything unless ~ is tapped.
You too can be Wee Dragonouts for the low price of
!!!!!
Totally different now! Crap-fog is goooooo!
Yeah, that's why I had to remove the Tidewater Minion variant from the set. But this can do some seriously bonkers things with Rhythm creatures like Drowsy Heron.
Yeah, I'm doing many, rapid revisions as I run through some playtesting and statistical analysis, so previous comments don't really line up with the card as it exists.
But yeah, this is essentially Rushwood Herbalist, without the ability to disrupt (((Soul Corruption))) or (((Shrieking Mandrake))). It does stop damn near every other piece of removal in the set, so it's actually quite strong.
Tireless Tribe but with a Llanowar Vanguard-style tap. Not a very good card, but every set needs some cards that aren't very good. And if someone gets some things they really want to discard, there are worse spellshapers, probably.
...Wait, it can hit any creature, not just itself? Ignore me, that's fine then. It's often going to be "
,
, Discard a card: Regenerate target creature" which is jolly useful.
Ability changed to reflect Thirst of the Necrophage and distinguish from Mozgul Regurgitator
Fascinating. Best part of this? It makes it actually pointful to spin a Seeker of Skybreak / Aphetto Alchemist targeting itself :)
