Decided it was time for another top-down challenge.

Mummies! Menkauhor

Presumably lycanthrope's can't just use the werewolf day/night stuff?

Joke entry Siveixx

Lycanthropes would be any of the other types of were creatures from myth/legend.

PS. If anyone's interested, there's an (as of 2007) list of other obsolete creature types http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtgcom/feature/424a3 near the bottom. Those weren't included in the challenge, but they may inspire someone to make an unplaced card :)

PS. Ethan Fleischer (http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/feature/124a) had some very nice Dinosaur designs for GDS2. They were lizards (which I think is correct), but he had several commons that felt quite impressive, which is exactly what you'd like from dinosaurs :)

I made Insufferable Bureaucracy. Does anyone else feel like Inquisitors, Paladins, and Crusaders would have fit perfectly on Innistrad? And that Gwafa Hazid, Profiteer should have been a merchant?

Guarded Stegasaurus, Charging Triceratops, Jungle Rush, Keeping the Peace. Adapt is intended to be used as a "That worked once, but my stuff is better now because you did that" mechanic. I like the premise, but you can see I'm not sure what the best way to implement it is.

Aerchaeopteryx. Am I the only person who reads its flavor text in the voice of the announcer from the Tootsie Pop ads? ... Nope. Now so do you. :)

Homicidal Wereshark, just for fun. Last strike does what you think it does.

I like what ttt is doing, but I couldn't help but think there was a missed opportunity somewhere in there. So I tossed together Sea Cave Hermit so I could stop annoying myself over it.

I'm not really sure what I was doing, but here's my hand with mummies

Thutmose III, Canopic Jar, Sobek Oracle, Pharaoh's Cheetah
