This has memory issues. Generally Wizards don't print cards like this which make reference to a target chosen several turns ago. Perhaps the way to do this is as a variation of Engineered Plague that has an ETB trigger to kill a creature of the chosen type?
Yeah i feel that when i play RTR limited for instance, i always get a cancell on my creature drops. And since this set have very heavy creature MEchanics, Energize, Horde and Illuminate. I think that this actually could be needed on Common, but it might be a very hatefull card. I will see in playtest, if it ever happens.
That would be ridonkulus. Good idea it would be great to have a reprint of remove sould in the set! i was thinking of adding something like that anyway.
Kinda wondering if you can interact this with Remove Soul (or any other counter). I assume so, and announcement order is remove soul first, then stuff it into the mirror. Which is pleasing.
...Oh, wait. This is target creature spell, not just target creature. Ooh, even more interesting. Feels like it should somehow be cheaper than Cackling Counterpart, then, because it'll only work the moment that the spell is being cast; and yet just feels too cheap, and so does . I guess this should probably stay as it is.
Very nice "guildmage". Each ability is potentially useful on its own and they also have very good synergy. The costs look about right as well.
If you've got any unblocked creature then the first ability can be invoked repeatedly (after it's declared unblocked), but that's fine; it's like Azure Mage, and the drawback of needing a creature excuses making the ability slightly smaller.
The first ability could probably avoid the quotes and just say "Whenever target creature [you control?] deals combat damage to an opponent this turn, draw a card."
Could probably either cost just , or also draw you a card. It's generally going to be fairly niche use - only as a counter-counterspell or as protection against a counter-combat-trick.

Falter used to be a lot cheaper. Order // Chaos is better than this in several ways.

Yeah; it was common, all the way up to 10th. Blue gets to do Counterspells. Heck; this only hits creatures!
I'm not sure if ~ was uncommon. But this card at common in limited would just be plane disturbing.

Nice to hear, i love the flavor. Your copying his spell and hes like oh.. you answered my threat with the same card again... You mirror mage!
I second "Make it like the shroud->hexproof variation"
"Equipped creature cannot be blocked by your creatures" :)
Sensible. I made this comment before looking through the rest of the set.
Nice. The flip side to Cackling Counterpart. Cost is about right, by comparison with that and with Rite of Replication. Rarity is correct too. I'd play it.

cool thx!
cool
Ooh. It's Turn to Frog but also with a touch of Imagecrafter / Trickery Charm. Should probably just cost
though.

Oh, that's true - I forgot the mana part. I guess I'm not so sure any more.
