Making this common is rather aggressive. Elite Vanguard is usually uncommon (and it used to be rare: Savannah Lions). I think white could perhaps get a vanilla 2/1 for at common, but going better than that is possibly a bit excessive.
Of course, you can't easily just bump the cost up because then you end up with Youthful Knight.
It feels like a polymorph to me; so it's fine to be blue in my opinion.
It's also really useful to use as a bounce spell to protect your creatures. (Ack! Unsummon that! Phew! Now, recast, um, the same creature, why not?)
A nifty blue Unsummon variant. Although it still has a template issue when combined with Control Magic etc. (you probably shouldn't be allowed to put their creature into your hand) but assuming that's fixed, it seems fine.
The flavour is great, but the name's not quite right. This isn't actually making the raid, just gathering the army. Name could perhaps involve "conscription" or "muster" or "enlistment", that kind of thing.
Hmm, ok, kinda fun. But there's really no reason to NOT pay the life (it reduces the damage you'll take by as much as it would deal anyway) and that means chum blockers kill it? Kinda odd as well as kinda fun.
I like it. Probably not mythic worthy though. Rare though.

True, the reason why it was at 1CC was to make it good with Recovery.

Oh creature you own then?

Reminds me of Caller of the Claw. Or perhaps Gather Specimens. It's not really very much like either of them though.

You sure it ain't to powerfull to be a rare?
So it's a 9/9 trample that people can pay 1 life to avoid taking 1 damage from?
OK, someone can kill it by paying 9 life and 9 mana. Or I suppose someone can trade it with a 3/3 by paying 6 life and
.
(@Vitenka: They need the mana too, and leaving
mana up is quite a lot.)
Seems pretty strong, but as a two-colour mythic it's probably not broken.

that might be right!
Was this meant to be 4 mana, not 5? The standard green common vanilla sizes are 4/3 for
(Order of the Sacred Bell) or 5/5 for

(Hollowhenge Beast).
