They don't print random discard very much anymore. Most discard effects are either "you pick" already, or let the opponent pick

I personally would prefer if it was less "turn stuff into Hymn to Tourach" and more "combine with Hymn to Tourach" e. g.
- "If an opponent would discard one or more cards at random, instead they reveal their hand and you choose that many cards from it. They discard the chosen cards."

It does, unfortunately. Turns targeted discard into "look at their hand, then they discard at random." I think it's worth it to upgrade your untargeted discard, though

Huh. That's a hit on the flavour and mostly very nasty.

Not 100% sure it doesn't accidentally bomb "discard that one" "Sure, discarding at random" though?

Funky. It's Panoptic Mirror meets Riptide Replicator meets Spellbinder, using Last Thoughts technology.

I don't think creating copies in exile that stick around more than transiently has been done before, but I don't see any severe rules problems with it beyond the memory issues.

Gosh. So every turn you get a flying spellstick. That goes very big very quickly.

Although given you have 5 mana, your spellsticks probably work too well as beat-sticks and you won't actually get to live the dream of "And I cast 5 copies of..." very often.
