I forgot that Thieves' Auction wasn't random. That's certainly more interesting. I originally wanted to make something like Thousand-Year Storm or Knowledge Pool, but I wanted it to be different enough and also couldn't figure out how to prevent you from just taking infinite turns with Time Walks

To me "chosen at random" kinda kills this. I could see a Thieves' Auction variant as a fun effect, though time consuming to resolve.

There is also no built-in way for this to leave the battlefield, which it kinda needs. The chaotic tone of the effect doesn't mesh well with the requirement of "build your combo".

The backside was supposed to be "they're up all night grading furiously, i.e. highly energetically." Based on personal experience

DFCs get to be bends. My original idea for the back was "deal damage when something of yours is targeted," but then there's zero through-line between the two sides. I don't think white dealing small amounts of damage when your opponent kills your things is a break, esp since the damage can't go face

The Werewolf TA made me think of the Werewolf guidance counselor from Fantasy High. Much more chill than this one.

Even if changing colors, I'm a firm believer that the color pie of the original casting cost needs to be respected. This is at least a bend.

This is supposed to be some sort of disturb lord, so I copied the disturbed template. They also don't need the "from anywhere" but have it anyway, so I left that alone

Edit: I suppose it means if the spell is countered, it gets exiled instead of going to your graveyard where you could cast it again

I really like the flavor text.

That ability can lose the "from anywhere" since the ability will only persist while the permanent is on the battlefield - unless you think about some interaction with Oracle Golem.

Should also probably say "becomes a Spirit" since this is a triggered ability.
